this seems like a good idea because it might increase the number of peeps that register in the forum(though probably only a few will post) and it will make the registration process easier, but it might also bring unwanted users and other bad things.

I don't think that this feature is necessary right now

I don't like the idea of installing mods into the boards, as I am the one that has to do the upgrades... this should be enough answer for the most part. As for additional forums, you can do those without me.

basically yeah, though with forum it also depends on the nature of the mod... some may be okay it depends how much original board files get modified.
