I am downloading a .bin file, from what i know i just burn this to CD?

But the file size is somthing like 747mb, but the CD that i am going to burn it to say the hold 700mb

will it fit?

Some burning programs has a feature called "overburning" which allows you to write more data to the cd then it's designed to keep. Use google or hompages of burning progs to find out more about how it works.

No, it doesn't. Good thing it wasn't a warez question.

A BIN file contains the data but you will also need an accompanying CUE file which will tell the burner how exactly to burn the BIN file. Don't worry about sizes. It'll fit. As far as I can see with BINs, it's not a raw CD image like an ISO (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong) so the end result may be a different size.

If it's not going to fit, your burning app will warn you beforehand.

ok since this is now in off topic ill tell you.

a .bin file is an image file of a cd that can be burned to a cd using certain programs.

You use cdrwin, nero or alchol 120% to burn this image to a cd.

And yes the 747mb file will fit onto a 700mb cd.

Think of it this way a .bin file is basicly like all the files on a cd put into one (like a zip folder) and it makes it easyier to copy the file from image to cd.
