Stop tabs becoming bold when activity occurs!

Does anybody else find it *extremely* annoying that the tabs for windows become bold when activity occurs in those windows? It changes the size of the tabs, and results in the tabs moving around and is generally annoying. I'd like an option (in Appearance) to prevent them becoming bold, or maybe to use another method of notifying that activity has occured - maybe changing the color of that tab's text?

BCDC and its mods have this option already. Checkout the Mod Client Inheritance table for those that should have it.
