I have the best features request. Perhaps someone have asked for this before but this is very important.
I want a button to TURN OFF THE CHAT!!!!!!
I dont want to see the soap-opera of the hub. But I cannot turn it off.
That was my request (feature) for dc++.
Other then that I think It´s a great prg.
Sry to hear about the future laws in some countries thou.
Peace -> Marcoo

The simple suggestion is to have the userlist expose the hole frame.. then you will see no chat.
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

In dc+k CDM there is an option to supress mainchat, if you download the code for both clients perhaps you can move that code into dc++?

True, but DC++ CDM is pretty much an OP client and not indended for the normal DC++ user. That being said, often important messages are relayed via main chat (rules, kick messages, etc) that normal users should see.
If chat really bothers you, just leave DC++ minimized or do what ivulfusbar said.

Why do you have the hub window open anyway? Just minimize the hub windows, because there is nothing particularly useful once you connect and read the hub information.
Hehe.
