Confirm delete file

Post by Kaiel » 2003-11-01 06:59

This may not such an important uh... feature?, but I think it would be useful for people with very fast (and occasionally clumsy) mouse movements. :D I did a bit of searching but I can't seem to find anything on it.

I'm thinking that, while there's a 'confirm application exit", there should also be 'confirm delete file'. Well, just to make sure people don't click on 'Remove' in download queue window and have their 95.5% completed file by accident. I'm not a programmer so I don't know how implement this myself. :?

I hear you. I do believe that this is already in the feature tracker (the topic says to check there before posting). ;)

Indeed:

I'd personally tend to prompt only for files that have been partially downloaded. I wouldn't let someone delete the queue item and leave the incomplete file around.
