search spy

Post by schmagekie » 2003-08-01 20:55

the search spy tells you how many hits youve had, but no which ones were hits. i think this would be a good feature to add sometime in the future although it is low priority.

Well, the search spy tells you how many search requests you've recieved.. to know how many of them are "hits", you'd have to search them all yourself... so, no.

I think he means he would like to know exactly which file was a hit in the search.

This feature (used/is) to be in bcdc, although I haven't noticed it still being there since .232, maybe he forgot to readd it

I took it out because my first design for it sucked, and was very timing dependent. I never readded it because I never became interested in it again, though who knows...
