[b]dgbhlp.lib can't be opened while compiling[/b]

I get an error message when i try to compile 0.251 in
Visual C++ 6:
LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file "dbghelp.lib"
Is this a problem in the compiler? I don't get the
message when compiling for instance v. 0.232...
help!

Do a search for dbghelp.lib on these forums. The solution involves migrating extendedtrace.h/cpp from an older version of DC++.

DBGHELP.LIB is part of the Platform SDK. Mine's (for VS.NET 2003) is in:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Vc7\PlatformSDK\Lib

Try updating your Platform SDK.
