grant extra slot for file list

would be nice if dc++ auto grant an extra slot for downloading file list
so you can view file and if there is something interesting you put in queque waiting for a regular slot

DC++ already does this. There are three "mini slots" that DC++ will use to download file lists as long as they are below a certain size (I forget what the size is). If the file list is beyond this size, a normal slot is used.

Some of these details may be inaccurate as it has been a while since I read about this. Can someone please confirm this?

The 3 extra slots are used for file lists and for files under 16 kB - so even if your filelist is 100 kB, it will still be downloaded through the extra slot if all normal slots are taken.

maybe the limit can be increased to 500k :?:

but imo is better an extra slot only for file list without kb limits

There aren't any size limits for filelists. They will be downloaded regardless of the file size.

No, that's probably because they are either using NMDC, or using a slot locking client.

Your DC++ folder has a file called "changelog.txt" in it.
