Would it make any sense to do a bit torrent-esque add in for downloading the public hub list? I see that it is not there anymore due to bandwidth limits but I believe this could fix it. sorry if this is a repeat, i checked the first page and didn't see any like it. I think the idea could work... not sure if you would have to make new source or if you could just mod bit torrent's in. The sourceforge or anyone with hosting would merely have to seed the list.

This is similar to a suggestion in the Protocol topic about making the hub list a meta-list of lists... You can track down that thread if you're interested. ;-)

I'm not sure where bittorrent factors into it... DC++ doesn't talk to peers without a hub, whereas Bittorrent does (with the help of the tracker I guess).
