complicated question

DC ++ was banned at my school last semester and over the course of the summer I got a new computer and couldn't download any files. Now DC++ is back and I tried to download a bunch of files from my friends over AIM but all they had was music and it didnt take up much space. I didn't know how to contact the admins of the hub and put something like i dont have any files yet dont kick me off as my nick, which apparently offended them. I downloaded a few movies but then had to go to work. When I got home I had a message that said I had 30 min to download files, but I had already been at work for 7 hours and now my IP is banned. I don't know how to contact the admins and try to explain to them what happened (if they even care).
Sorry this is so long, but i dont know what to do, i dont know anything about computers.
