Bush & Muppets singalong
Stand up and Sing if you're a patriot !
The Muppet-Bush Theme!
It's time to bomb Iraqis
Because we love the Jews
This time we'll get all footage
Live on TV with fox news
We need no friends nor allies
Because our dick is big
We'll carpetbomb their cities
And all they can do is plead.
What are you all complaining
We're bringing law and peace
We just want to have no Saddam
And all oil wells we can seize
With US journalism
We need no brain or thoughts
We believe all they tell us
Cause we are patridiots
War sure is good for people
It brings them better times
We'll just kill evil scoundrels
And civilians that don't hide
What are you all complaining
God is on our side
Of that we are so certain
Cause Bush says so every night
Why don't we get things started ?
Cause Bush is too retard ?
We'll get the war now started
With the most asininely
Avariciously ÂÂ
Unconvincably
Superciliously
Government of U S A-meee-riiii-caaaaaaa !

Neomodus sucks.
The client is terrible.
The hub software is dreadful.
The only thing worse is the protocol.
And then they had to top it by choosing vbs for scripting.
I still marvel at the fact that sharing with Direct Connect turned out so good.

Ah... right. You can't convince me of that, and I don't think I can convince you that he isn't doing the best job possible. (I snipped your war quote because the two really aren't related.)
Let's just pretend there was a big heated political debate and end the thread right here, okay?

Gore did win, but then buddies of The Supreme Court overruled it to W's favor.....
Late verification count shows that by recounting all votes in Florida, while using any possible "hanging chad" intepretation, would have given Gore a few hundred more votes. How many hundred would have varied depending on the criteria.

Gore did not win by any reasonable count. AT BEST it was a tie.

You say this but countless private recounts have demonstrated larger and larger majorities for Bush. And that's not even getting into the later counts in some other close votes around the country, a great many of which show that Bush was officially undercounted there too.

Speaking of morons...
Michael Moore is one of the biggest morons around. He's completely out of touch with reality, apparently delusional about the state of the world, unable to grasp the simplest lines of rational reasoning, and just overall not someone anyone should be seriously listening to. He was absolutely hilarious on the first run of TV Nation back in the day, but as anything other than an entertainer he's simply a looser.
As for Bush's intelligence, from what I hear he's really a smart guy. I mean seriously, most people call him a moron based on how he talks and slipups he makes during interviews and press conferences. He's not a great communicator in those settings by any stretch of the imagination. But that's no reason to conclude that he's a moron.
When people actually go and converse with him, it's said that they're always surprised by his depth of knowledge and (seriously!) intelligence.
In a way I suppose Michael Moore and Bush are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Moore is a moron who communicates well enough, but under analysis says nothing really defensible and seems to have no rational solutions for the problems he mislabels. Bush is a pretty horrible communicator in public but who actually says something and can back it up with lucid reasoning when in private.

Here in Spain respected analists say that Gore won, and that was disclosed around 9/11, definitively a bad date.
It's not 'private recounts' what matters, I can make a private recount where Michael Moore wins
And the same goes for "bush is intelligent in private".
I don't think Michael Moore is the only 'moron' who realizes that USA has a problem with guns.
Writing "(seriously!)" you are proving that even you realize how unbelievable is this.
btw, when president's brother came to Spain he said that we were a Republic!!! Bush should share his 'depth knowledge' with his brother!!
After all, is his brother. He doesn't deserve to be left in the ignorance.

I actually remember right around 9/11 seeing the wires report that the last of the recounting teams had gone home after reporting increasing majorities for Bush. It hardly ever got into mainstream news, though, between reporting on 9/11 and a bit of a liberal bias in the media here in the US.

You really can't. You don't have access to the punchcards that were being counted in Florida, and you also aren't a committee selected to be unbiased. Not that either of those assure a fair recount, but they lend much more credence to their claims. Not to mention the legal definition.
I don't think Michael Moore is the only 'moron' who realizes that USA has a problem with guns.
But that's actually not Michael Moore's position at all. He thinks the US's position on guns is fine.
Writing "(seriously!)" you are proving that even you realize how unbelievable is this.
Of course I do. Bush is a horrible speaker in terms of resonating with educated people. He sounds like an incredibly undereducated, illiterate man in a suit when he's giving speaches. But there's much more to him than that, and in not adapting a different speaking tone he's actually resonating with a whole different group of supporters.
Basically, just because you're not in his target audience don't assume he's a moron.

Note, this is a political discussion, and I find that you can hardly ever convince anyone of anything in one. However, I think that this is a debatable point, and that opposing views have some credence. For instance, the book "What Liberal Media?" seems to be a well researched alternative opinion. (I haven't read it, but I listened to an Interview with its author. If nothing else, you seem to be using "liberal" in a different sense than it's used in many other countries.
I don't want to argue this point with you Volkris, your political arguments hold much less weight with me than your discussions on DC protocol, where I'm appreciative of your hard-headness and the confidence in your arguments.

I learned long ago not to try arguing over the existance of liberal/conservative bias. Either side can find the statistics they need for support. Most all of the statistics either way is nonsense, counting rather arbitrary words and trying to extract meaning from that.
All I know is that NPR and the Houston Cronicle consistently leave out significant parts of stories and use language that happens to put a bad color on conservative sides of issues, with NPR being the worst with this and the paper getting better lately.
I can stop paying for the Cronicle, but I'm forced to pay for NPR in taxes, which really annoys me.
So anyway, yes I say that with only my anecdotal evidence to back it up, but that's plenty enough for me.

Wow, this is so weak.. If you're going to make such statements please try to refrain from your obvious obsession with ass. And as far as Republicans having more mud to through, it makes sense since most of you live in pig swallar out in some hick rural town where it's legal to "make babies" with your cousins.
Here's the deal CrackaAss, we did NOT go to war with Iraq to get rid of Saddam.. The original intention was to DISARM Iraq because we swore up and down that he had chemical weapons. I am American, I support my government when it does things that are honorable and decent. Nothing about the war was honorable. And nothing about the current government is decent. Go figure.
So, where are the chemical weapons Mr. Mud-Slinging-Hick-Republican? You back the government that promises something it can't/won't prove? You back the government who doesn't care what the majority of it's allied countries think?
You're one of those morons that falls into the category of bush's "target audience" aren't you (refer to my previous post).

Wow, you can't even use words to defend your previous statements. You're weaker than I though. That's a shame, a weak republican.. Just like the gov you support can't find any chemical weapons you can't find any "truckloads of mud". I also assume you can't find your own opinion, instead you just use someone elses work to defend yourself.. Tsk, Tsk.
Garg: bring it on.
