Is it just me, or is this something more people miss?
I Am logging ALL my chat, downloads etc. And DC++ makes 1 long file of all chat. Would it be possible to have DC++ switch file once a week, or once a month. That way the txt files wouldn't be 100+meg large. (;

Log rotation is typically handled externally, at least for linux daemons. DC++ doesn't keep the log open, so if you want to just rename it manually, you can do so. It's something to keep in mind, of course.

Yepp, been doing it that way.. But as i have a tendency to forget it. I usually end up with logs that are over 10mb's each.. (;
Which are quite a bitch to search through when lookin' for what u want.. (;

Well, it might be possible to change it so that you can have expandable arguments to the log file name. It's a bit more than I want to think about at the moment, but I went and filed a new RFE anyhow:

you could always make a batch file that does it for you then use windows scheduler or another scheduling program to run it daily.
