download speed

hi all

may be my question is dumb but i really wanna know about it so if anyone can help me out with it. while downloading through dc++ maximum download speed i get is 2.8 KiB/s

now i wanna know how can i increase it. in one article i saw he mentioned http-tunnel gives maximum speed 5kbps dont you think if i use that it will increase my speed. as my download speed through browser goes higher then 40 kbps.

plz someone help me out with it.

If you're on dialup, you're not going to get much better. Especially in small middle eastern countries.
