Hello everyone. I am new to this site and had a question that I was hoping one of you may be able to answer. When I am downloading a file. Can I open and play the part that is downloaded so far? If so, how would I do it?
Thank you all and have a nice rest of the day.
I'm a newbie and need a little help

Are you referring to an avi, mp3 or similar file?
If that is the case then it is possible to preview/prelisten to these partly downloaded files.
There are some 3rd part programs out there to do this: avipreview, VLC media player and Windows Media player Classic are the ones I have tried myself. I leave it up to you to google for them (That is a good exercise

FYI, when I looked a while ago, I found two different "AVIPreview" programs:
http://www.avipreview.com/ ("AVIPreview by AJ")
http://www.funkster.org/ ("AviPreview")
Neither is open source and thus suitable for inclusion with DC++ (that's why I looked.)
