I know this has been already requested, but I would really like to know what are the possibilities of DC to know, if the file list has been changed since the last download of it. If it hasn't, there would not be a need to redownload it once again.
When I'm adding popular files to my queue one by one, redownloading happens very often because of the auto-search.
My suggestion is to store a date/time of this modification in some variable and it would be possibel to send this variable to user when it is requested.
This information would be requested and stored every time the list is downloaded. And, if there is a need to download this list once again, DC would request the information about the last modification of it and only then, if there has been changes, it would download this list. If not, automatch would be done using existent file list.

Sure, a method for asking "has your list been updated" is nice. In all fairness, so are a lot of the features in the tracker.
