Hi Everyone,
I hope your in a helpfull mood cause i am confused... I am trying to set up a DC++ hub so that i can run it at a lan i will be hosting. I have two computers on my desk atm to try and get it setup as best as possible and i cant get the two to see each other through dc++ i have searched high and low on the net and on here and cant find any enlightenment into this taboo topic of setting up a server. I understand it is peer to peer but i have to join a server to see the other computer, i need to be able to do this on a LAN ie I need to run the server. Anyone who can put me out of my missery fire away, i need all the info i can get cause this LAN isnt getting further away and i hate the unrealiablity and connection probs trying to use windows file sharing and when i found out about this program i thought "PERFECT" now i just need to learn more...
Please Help
