i'm coding something in Delphi that is modifying the queue.xml file (priorities of files) and i was wondering if
a) queue.xml is loaded once (when starting dc++) or many times.
b) queue.xml is saved once (only when exiting dc++) or many times.
I don't know c++ so that why i didn't checked myself in the source code

Changes in the queue.xml are only loaded the starting dc++, expect form the changes automaticly made by dc such as new files to dowload an remove entries then a file i finished downloading if you tri to midify the queue.xml manually or with an outside prog you must have shutdown dc the doing it or the changes will be flused wehn it reads the queue.xml from memory.
Edit: I hope I got everyting right.
