How would you suggest I go about disconnecting the current transfers control from the main window and implementing it as a childwindow? I've had a quick look at this and didn't see a easy way short of moving alot of code.
Unless I can use .SetParent(HWND) to move it, however I dont think that's very elegant. Any suggestions?

I'm not entirely sure, though I think that would be nice as its own window (and its own cpp/h file). I see your latest snapshot has a picture of it in one of the sticky-capble windows. Good work on that so far, it looks really interesting.
P.S. - We're all in dchub://surfnet.mine.nu:1418 now.
