Sort favourite hubs by name or ip address

Post by Doob-E » 2004-04-02 14:15

You should make it possible to alphabetically sort favourite hubs by pressing the column title bar just like you have in the download queue, finished downloads or any other window in dc++. Why not in the favourite hubs window.

Sounds good to me.

Might as well throw in folders in the favorites too... which I know has been suggested before (cant find the damn post through).

You used to be able to sort it. However, you couldn't modify the order it appeared in the XML. When you've got hubs set to auto-connect, this matters.

Doob-E, sorting the way you describe was intentionally removed so that you can manually sort it using the "Move Up" and "Move Down" buttons.

If folders where added then it probably wouldn't sort well with the headers anyway...

A way to solve this is to make a public hublist containing all the hubs in your favorites and use that as your public hublist, you can sort etc all you like in there, ofcourse it wont know your password or custom nickname, but if you have alot of hubs in your favs then I'm guessing most are public.
