URL Handler

Post by vnetyahoo » 2004-03-30 19:36

Hie,

NMDC supports downloading of files from a particular user direcly from the webpage whereas DC++ only supports connecting to that hub. Is it possible to incorporate feature of downloading a file or folder from a user through DC++. just by clickin on the link provided the webpage

This features will be of great use. For eg, User can visit the webpage of hub and click on the file link (Say Top Downloads, or Latest Files) and it starts downloading in DC client from whoever has that file.

I can easily download the file from MogLo using NMDC but in DC++ it get me the user's list, it do not add that file in Download Que/

The next form of URL handling in DC++ will likely be the Magnet-URI.

Doubtful. I think that once the hashing in general is ironed out, then it may be started.
