The new safe and compress feature as a great potential i think
but is it possible to define on my side which files i dont want to compress
cuz i noticed that you do this automaticly for files like rar
but theres no real good reason to spend CPU time on files like MPEG4 (avi)
they are compressed as it is , same for mp3 and jpg and .......
so if i can define which ones it could be good
now
another one (dont flame me on this one...)
total hubs connected to share
i know its a feature on the less wanted DC mods
but this one can be useful since alot of hubs let you join as many as
10 hubs and knowing how much is totaly shared gives a nice feel
of proportion like in (dont flame me!@!!$!!) kazza and co.

Safe and compressed transfers already do that for you. It tests the beginning of a file, and if it doesn't compress well, it doesn't try to compress it at all. But if it does compress well (text files etc) it does what it can to compress it.
I don't really see that your other feature is that big of a deal, it's just another statistic after all. Shouldn't be too hard to implement, if there isn't already a mod that does it.

How much CPU time is your DC++ using? I'd be willing to bet that you spend more time answering search requests than you do on compressing uploads.
The reason to always have safe & compressed transfers enabled is because of the Addler32 checksum (similar to crc32 used in SFV files) - it will detect in-transfer corruptions.

It's Kazaa. We're not going to flame you for this. And I know it's a DC Stealth feature. Why not ask it in the statistics thread? Frunktz (spelling?) is looking for users who want statistics, hopefully he'll produce a good patch for DC++.
