Upload Slots
Something I was thinking about with DC is the uploads, with so many hubs requiring different amounts of upload slots available or so many per hub you are connected to, couldnt DC++ have a way of setting a certain # for each hub, advanced setting, ie 10 for 1 hub, 3 in another, 5 in another etc and a dynamic setting of 1/Hub, 2/Hub up to say 5

try do a search for this, there are many problems which involve the same problems as different shares for different hubs. DC++ has no definent way to know what hub the person is in (unless they're only in one hub with you) so in the first place knowing what slot to use is a problem, then if they are in say 3 hubs with you then which one of those three hubs slots are they using? and if you say they're using it from hub 1, then when the next person asks for a slot from hub 1 but they're all full but no one is using the hub 2 slots should it then become a hub 2 slot? so that the person can get a slot from you?
Basically there's no real point in answering the questions due to the whole not being able to tell problem. But it really is a good idea, however u'll be stuck with running different clients.

Wasnt a problem just a suggestion for future versions, think more-so the slots/hub feature would be nice, I hate when you log into another hub and the one your already in decides to kick you because you now dont have enough slots open, the other suggestion with setting for each was to enable those which require a minimum #.

You're just reiterating what you said in your first post.
Twink is trying to point out that it works fine if (and only if) nobody has the same nick on any of the hubs you're on. However, once people start having the same nick (it is bound to happen, especially if you have friends who hang out in several hubs with you), you can no longer handle the "guess-which-hub-this-user-came-from" code correctly.
And if you intended to blindly increase the count number, without locking them to a specific hub, that has been suggested before.
