Incoming directories per file extension

Any chance of adding an mIRC like feature to sort files into seperate folders by file extension?
Such as .mp3 go into your music folder wherever it is, avi/mpg/mpeg go to a certain folder... etc...

Would be a greatly appreciated feature.

I think this may already be in the Feature Request Tracker, which is the official place for non-controversial requests.
