I have been using DC++ for about two weeks, and have been banned from a couple hubs. The disconnect message says "Banned from server by <sysop name>".
This leaves me clueless as to what behavior they disapprove of, or how to go about correcting the situation. Especially for a new user, still learning the functions.
It would be most beneficial, if there were a code number that goes with a ban, or an associated text string (with a default), so that the banned person could figure out what was going wrong, and fix it.
The WHY and HOW need to be addressed so that the banned can correct course. Otherwise user population will be negatively impacted, by uncorrectable violations.
Suggestion: Add "Reason for Ban" to the disconnect
