disable the download queue for an especific user

Post by jcmarcussojr » 2003-11-14 20:56

Hi!

Many times I want to disable the download from a specific user (maybe because this user uses most of my bandwidth) to finish some other download with greater priority from some other user.

Now, I have to set to priority "pause" all files from the user I want to stop (temporarily) the downloads. This is not a problem. but if many of these files have diferent priorities, it's hard to set tehm again to its priorities after set them all to "paused".

thanks for reading

If you have other downloads going, just set your download slots, and make sure those other higher priority files have a a higher priority in the queue.

In addition to throttling uploads, DC++k and BCDC can throttle downloads as well.
