Don't close connection when removing file from queue

Post by jan banan » 2003-10-01 10:15

Lets say I have 2 files from the same user in my queue

I'm downloading one of the files and decide I don't need that file so I remove it from the queue, and the connection to that user is now dropped.

Why not make a simple check if there are more files from this user in the queue and continue with that file instead?

Because it is only possible to cancel a file in transit with the current protocol by closing the connection.
