Shut down while Uploading

Most or all of the Hubs have a rule that states that you can't quit while another person uploading from you or else you can be banned. I don't mind my computer working few extra hours, but it becomes a problem when people make uploads one after another and it continues for days. Can i somehow mark my files (or something like that) so that people would stop making new uploads and I could shut down my computer???

P.S. I can leave my comp on during the night, but in the morning I'm not the only one to use it and DC++ eats up all upload speed.

I say, f*ckem. Just close DC++ when you want to shutdown. If the hub requires you to though away electricty to let people finish uploadin find a different hub.

I can't remember ever seeing that rule. One rule i regularly see is one that states that you mustn't leave the hub while downloading. A rule that wouldn't allow you to quit while uploading would be extremely senseless, as you don't have any control over it. If the rule actually is about uploading, contact an op and ask what they mean by it, as they can't possibly expect you to never turn your comp off again.

yeah most people with decent shares dont have a gap of more then 2-3 seconds between uploads ending and another starting, that rule just doesn't make sense. Specially if you have 2 or more slots
