Exlude files from share.

Post by ellis » 2003-07-16 11:42

I have my kazaa folder shared, cuz of this most hobs kick me out if i forget to remove my unfinished downloads. I wold like to have some thing that can ignore kazaa files and other non wanted files to make dc shares ALOT cleaner. =)

i forgot to search for this so im realy sorry if some one already posted this
just give me a "good idea" or "already posted" or somthing along thos lines.

Why dont you just place your "kazaa unfinished files" in some other directory than your kazaa downloaded files?

A good idea would be to put the unfinished downloads in a different folder.

kazaa does have that function. There is a place to insert a path for incomplete downloads (the last time I used it!)

If you are in the habit of forgetting, then just don't include your Kazaa folder. Simple as that.

and.. you SHOULD check all stuff you download from kazaa anyway...
lot's of junk there, corrupt movies (including renamed movies for sinister reasons), madonna with crap through her mp3's, virii, trojans

don't share your kazaa downloaded stuff before having a 2nd look
