%[file]

Post by JenZenâ„¢ » 2003-05-26 06:32

I have a request for the user menu.

It is so annoying that i have to copy the filename and path and insert it into my ban reason every time i ban for files.

This could easily be solved.

If you made an option in the user menu items called %[file] which returns path and filename. e.g. p\a\t\h\s\filename.file

This would be very nice, cause it will make the users more happy and a lot of operators more happy.

I hope you get the idea. :-)

I've added this in my upcoming version of DC++k (v0.2508k) as well as having sent away a patch to arnetheduck. It uses %[file], as you suggested.

Nice! Thank you very much!

I just hope that this feature will be added in DC++ which is the "core" of most of those DC clients out there, cause then we will have the feature in ALL mods of DC++. Would be real nice.

But as you said, you have sent a patch to arne so maybe he'll code it. Maybe not.

Well, he has (DC++ 0.251). Only works in the search window, as user commands don't work in filelists.
