i'm no techie but here's a idea i don't know if its pollitical correct though!
(not many hub owners are!) or it's technical realisation!

oke you have found a file on a guys HD you don't like files like that and it's the hub's policy not to have those kind of files!!!

HERE COMES THE ACTUAL QEUSTION!!!!!:

is it possible to locate through some kind of tagging system to locate the original file (as far you may call it original)

Supposing that your question is: After having downloaded a file, can someone else know from where I downloaded it from? The answer is no. There is no way for someone else to know from where that file camed and since there is no date tag in the dc protocol, we can't either check to see which one is older.

The only information that others (users, hub, etc) know about our files is it's name and size.

If I have files in my share which are getting me banned because they are not allowed in the hub can the hub tell me where they are?

The simple answer is of course if "KNOW YOUR SHARE!!!"

The more helpful answer is Yes, the hub 'could' tell you the exact path of the file, but if the script doesn't do that, ask them to change their script, I'm sure they'd be happy to do it for a recently banned user.

Or... Use windows, Find Files feature...

Or... Open your own file list and search for it yourself.
