Some other features...

Post by Vai » 2003-04-06 13:38

Auto disconnect a download if the speed falls below a user definable level, because I hate leaving the computer, then coming back to find that the speed is either 0 or something like 200bytes/second, when I could have set a feature to disconnect the download if it falls below 2kb/s and to try a different source.

The ability to automatically open the completed downloads and/or upload's window when DC++ starts up.

The ability for DC++ to automatically do a search on a file if you can't connect to any users after 15 minutes of trying.

Search on more than one file at a time, i.e. I can highlight as many files as I want then right click and search on all of them, instead of clicking each file individually.

A search 'queue', many hubs now only allow one search every 5 seconds, it would be good if you could allow only one search every 6 seconds (or however long you say in the options), so you don't have to sit there counting to up to 5 seconds 30 times over.

Thanks, I hope I will see some of these features implimented :)

I would like this feature, but it should only work if you HAVE different sources.

Completed uploads and uploads windows show only upload or downloads completed since the last startup of dc++. They are empty at startup.

It would cause search spam. There was an idea about 'search queue' depending on priority of a file (files with higher priority are searched more often).
