GUI: Menu Colors

People who use darker themes in Windows XP (like myself) have trouble reading the menus. This applies only to the items on the menu bar, not the items within the actual menus. Instead of using the system-specified font color, they always use black. I imagine this should be an easy fix.

What do you mean by the menu bar? I understand that you don't mean the main menus, or the toolbar, since that's all graphics. Do you mean the tabs at the bottom of the screen, or perhaps the text in the status bar at the very bottom?

By menu bar I mean the menu bar. The main menus on the toolbar. I'm not talking about icons or tabs. Here's a pic to help you out:

Thanks that clarified it for me. But isn't a better solution to modify the menu text color in the appearance tab of the Display Control Panel? Or does DC++ not respect those settings?

That's exactly what I'm trying to point out: DC++ isn't using those universal color values. Other programs don't have this problem.

I consider it a bug, but it might be a feature request, I can always move it
