Hubs Status from Downloaded Hub List

I wonder if, DC++ could sort of ping the Hubs that are in the Public Hublist Window ...

Then in a separate column in addition to the existing ones ( Name, Desription, Users, Address )
we could then, get a Status column with the result of the "ping" that DC++ did. ( online, offline, timeout, unknown )

That would be usefull for browsing the Hubs that are actually there and not wasting time on offline responses ...

I think a very nice addition to the client and will enhace the use of Hublists ...

Is it possible ??

( Only thing that I question is the bandwidth of those Hubs ... )

I believe the hublists already remove hubs they cannot connect to from the visible list (and add them later when they can connect). It's better for the public hub list software to do this culling of offline hubs than for every DC++ client to ping every hub on the list.
