Oh, so if I mark my connection as 'modem', you won't download from me? sweet!

Anyone ever hear that you can click the little "connection" tab to sort out the people by connection?
Before asking dumb questions
1. Read the FAQ
2. Search the forum for it...
3. Try Google

That's exactly what I do..... but it becomes pretty irritating when I have 30+ sources and have to go through all of them...... Yes I know, I can set it to to skip adding sources automatically, but I am lazy :P

Hmmm? Well.... sure set your connection to modem... I won't argue, or download from you, but then you better only be in one hub or it's a kick coming for you?

The function isn't really necessary..... but it's nice for all of us lazy people

Or even useful for that matter, since the connection speed settings really has nothing to do with actual speed. Infact, even if you happen to actually have a T1 line and indicate it properly in your settings there is nothing that ensures you'll actually get that speed to another T1 user. It's about as useful as the ping feature.

Agreed, Todi. And if multi-source ever makes it to DC++, this is one of those source-micro-management feature requests that would become unimportant.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The connection type is completely pointless and I just don't get why people even care about it.
