Remove user from ALL queues

Post by Cruse » 2004-05-30 19:56

Lets say u want to download something consisting of more than one file (series eps, rars of a release...). All those files are are the same in different users shares so u use the search for alternates option.

If one of the found sources is slow and u wanna drop it u have to do it for every episode/rar one by one via "Remove user from queue"

So my simple request:
additional option "Remove user from ALL queues"

a more global approach would be something like "Ignore user for downloads"

If you wanted to remove just one user from a file (which I know you don't), Remove source is the way to go. Remove user from queue, on the other hand, already removes them as a source from all files you have queued. If they weren't listed as a source, they can be discovered and added later by DC++.

well i did some more testing and of course youre right the selected source is removed from all _existing_ queues but if i add another file to the queue the source is back again (in this queue)

so the feature request would be the global approach to ignore the user as a source for existing and future queues

Okay, here's an existing request that has that feature covered:

[ 771569 ] manually label sources as preferred or to be avoided
