Accommodating the multi-row tab

At the moment, the inception of a second row of tabs pushes everything up so that the bottom of the windows get covered. I was wondering if it could just squeeze the transfers box and not push it up.

Settings -> advanced
set max tab rows to 1.
Is that what you wanted?
