Cut-off point for support

Regarding this thread, what are people's thoughts on not providing "official" support for versions older than a specific version or a specific time period?

I know that I certainly don't care to look up how such old versions differ from the current version, what bugs/incompatibilities existed in that version, etc.

Microsoft doesn't support Win9x anymore (right?), so they really should upgrade in any case.

They officially support it until July 11th.

Win95 has been EOLed for a while.

If you can't remember the features of a version, feel free to say that it is too old for you to remember. Each of you supports DC++ to the best of your abilities/recollection, and that's perfect the way it is. Suggest an upgrade, and if they don't, it's okay if you don't reply to them.
