bugzilla

Post by arnetheduck » 2004-10-03 09:16

Hm, on a side note; you can change all bugs that have been fixed in cvs to the assigned status, that way it's easy to close all open bug reports on release...also, if you personally confirm a bug and it annoys you, you're welcome to move bugs from unconfirmed status...we probably need to educate users about voting as well, considering the amount of dupes we see...suggestions?

Indeed. Also the lack of voting in general. Perhaps each time we mark an entry as a duplicate, add a comment like "This bug/request is a duplicate. If you want to see it fixed/implemented, please vote for bug number ###". It would be even better if Bugzilla could automate this ...

As for the expiry, I would say three months was reasonable seeing as there will usually have been at least one new release during such a period.
