New defaults for some of the values, specifically MaxSendSize, try this with 4096...also, this version logs overflows and login timeouts...see if you can find any pattern...

All paths apart from plugins are relative the config path!

I'm getting
Logging: 2003-12-08 13:38:30: PluginManager: /usr/local/bin/dchpp/LuaScript.so is for another version of DCH++ (0.29), please get the correct one from the author
with the linux LUAScript plugin. Everything else loads fine.

Just an observation...

I run DCH++ with all of the bells and whisles enabled. Recently, I got a redirect and filled my hub up. The T1 I'm on was maxing out around 450 users.

Is DCH using so much bandwidth because of all the scripts/plugs I'm using? For however long this redirect I'm getting lasts, you can monitor the usage via SNMP if you want. Just need your IP so I can allow it in

with about the same amount of traffic I've found the linux version performs much better than the windows one. It's probably more to do with the OS networking code though.

Sed, can you check the .30 luascript plugin for the i586? I'm pretty sure it's the .29 one.

T1 as in 2mbit? You probably won't cram very much more in on that...you could try increasing writetimeout a bit which should decrease network overhead but...

T1 as in 1.544 megabits per second. Currently WriteTimeout is set to 100, I'll increase it to 300 and see if it helps.

Is Sed still around or is there anyone else that can compile the plugins for linux?
