view partially downloaded avi

Post by aneco » 2003-12-28 16:36

While downloading an avi file i would like to view the partially downloaded movie. When i open the file in bsplayer or mediaplayer i get an error in the file xvid.dll. I tested the file in G-spot and it tells me that all codecs are installed. I also tried to copy the file, but it doen't solve the problem. :?

Is it possible to view a partially downloaded avi-file and how can i do it. :D

Copy that file, then run DivFix on the copy to repair the "header" information.

Even easier is to use Avipreview, you can just open and view.

or just use bsplayer, I think you have to make a copy first, not sure.
