How do you use .bin files?
How do they work, I want to download a video game, but the downloads for the game are listed as .bin files. How do you use bin files to run games?

what i have done to use bin files is download a file called 'isobuster' whoch when you have installd it it associates itself to lots of thise type of files like .bin .iso etc,
then when you x2 click the downloaded foile it opens up in isobuster and you then select all the files and select extract, the you extract em to a new folder you have to create in my docs or anywhere really and then you can ususally x2 click setup (in the folder you just extracted to) and the setup will statrt
once extracted you can then burn to diwsc as data and that disc will autorun, have fun
you can get isobuster 1.1 from http://www.isobusterdownload.org/isobuster_11_eng.zip
glad to have been able to help
this is a freeware program btw, we wouldnbt want anyone using programs they hadnt paid for (hehehehehehe)
laters all

This is the better solution. It is a lot less fiddly and does not require you to use twice the disk space - once for the image and once for the extracted files. Extracting files also means that you miss out on things in the CD image such as CD audio data.
