old user of dc++ having trouble

hi I'm an old user from dc++ i used to get lots karaoke but i seem to have trouble getting on any pub list to search for my site... I diabled my firewall and still no connection ; I have windows xp firewall with McAfee antivirus. I tried everything if any one has salution please reply or pm me thank you.
