Have you tried connecting to other hubs, or does this happen for all of them?

Well, for starters you could click on the icon named "Public hubs" in your DC++ (the very left icon in the toolbar). There you should find a rather large number of public hubs. Most of them should work, at least for a connection test, as long as you are not inside a local network that block certain ports to the internet.

In case you are inside such a network, you should try hubs that use ports that are not blocked by your network. You can see the hub addresses in the "Address" column in the list like this:

123.123.123.123:4111 which is IP-address:PORT
or
somedomain.com:6666 which is domainname:PORT

(For addresses where there is no ':PORT' part, the standard DC port number 411 is used. But in case your network indeed blocks certain ports, probably to block file sharing applications, then especially the standard ports are likely to be blocked.)
Nope, you are really, really the only and very first one who is having this problem. For no reason take a look at the FAQ on this page prior to asking. "FAQ" means "Frequently Asked Questions" but your problem is completely new!

Crazy - B !

t.y. for taking the time to reply. I appriciate it immensely. I was able to connect to other hubs, and after i connected, all the windows opened up (just like they did @ dc.bootlegarchive.com) SO i tried to re-connect to dc.bootlegarchive.com, and the log says Connected, but none of the windows opened up, ( list of other users on line, my in-process downloards, and the MAIN CHAT list)

I'm contemplating re-installing the program, and starting from scratch?

help!!!!!
