White screen - but files is found

I had a question in this thread:

I´s gone.

So I try again. The question was why search results not shows up - the screen is white, but the figure on the results, the files that was found and the figure of the filtered files is there. Someone asked me to put up a screen dump. I have done it again here, this time with some coloured zones...

if i remember correctly, ullner asked you to try this: press "Ctrl" and "+" simultaneously. i think this should do it, because according to your screenshot it seems all your columns have been resized to 0.

(and btw, your post is gone, because support posts are deleted after some time...)

redownload the clients binary and copy over all your xml files, if im not mistaken youhave a laptop and those commands dont work with your computer right? if thats the case just get the binary and copy over the xml files into ur new client that should fix the problem

oh, i thought the command worked in all Windows...

well, you can do this, or if you don't want to loose your settings, you can use the "manual way": close DC++, find DCPlusPlus.xml which is in your DC++ directory, open it in a text editor program (like Windows' Notepad), find the lines beginning with "SearchFrameOrder" and "SearchFrameWidths" (they should be in the beginning, for me they are lines 11 and 12) and remove these 2 lines.
on the next DC++ start, DC++ should reset these 2 values to the default ones.
