help identifying avi files

can anyone help me identify some avi files i recovered from a jumbeld harddisk.
is there any easy method ?
i recovered the avi files most of them i sorted manually looking for a title at the beginning. But many dont have a title.
i have sorted at least the category but i dont have the order in which to watch these files from each category and would spoil it for me watching the end first for example so as i can first find out its the end, understand ?
