Suddenly I ca't Downlaod any more

Some background. I got Cable Internet 2 months ago. Had a problem because of the router. Came here and finall got it to work. Now so some reason now I can't download anyting. I can't remember or pin point when this start but it couldn't be more than a week. Not a few things happen this pass week.

the power went off in my city last week I think. Every block went out. I cleaned my PC out. Gigs of space. and recently a few days ago I changee to a new Windows firewall. OneCare.

Now about the Gigs. I know I have to have a certain amount to connect but I checked and went to a small hub. I get connected to hubs but I can't download. I'm connect.

The Firewall. I checked DC++ is allowed to connect online. Now I had trouble once I got my router and internet. I don't know how I did it but I put in the correct info and I got it to work. I'm thinking that when my power went out maybe something got reset and now I have to change but I really don't know. My route has been on for the 2 months that I've had Cable internet. so I really don't know. Everything was final a week ago. I never noticed anything until recently.

Did you re-check your forwarding settings? Either your internal IP could have changed (making it necessary to adjust the forwarded ports in your router), or your external IP could have changed (making it necessary to adjust the IP in DC++'s active mode settings.)

Those two things are the most likely causes, so check them out first.

the change to passive mode. But I must tell you I have no idea what I'm doin, lol. for some reason it kind of worked. b4 passive mode ddidn't work bu I'm not 100%. I tested and was aable to search and downlaod but I wasn't getting a lot of results.

I usually type in Britney Spears to see if my searchs are working because know they'll get a hit. But that isn't always good. I few times b4 I typed in Britney Spears and DC++ crushed, lol. I restarted and typed it again it crashed again, lol.

SO many results that it crased so thats my test, lol
