Can't get seperate audio and video file output from TMPGenc

Post by J187 » 2004-07-19 20:22

I'm using TMPGenc Express 3.0
Ok, the setting in one version of TMPGenc was
"Output video and audio as individual elementary streams."
I've got TMPGenc express 3.0. After encoding only one output file comes out, not seperate audio and video file. I would like to author with IFOEdit and when I select video source theres no problem, but for the audio source, theres no seperate file. The audio was MP3 so I shouldn't have to extract it. The settings on Express 3.0 are a little different, can anybody tell me what the equivilent of "Output video and audio as individual elementary streams" is in the 3.0 vers that would give me two seperate output files?

Wouldn't it be better to ask this question in a more appropriate place, such as the TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress message board?

I thought it would be best to post wherever I'm likely to receive the quickest and most accurate response. I understand your logic with the TMPGenc site but if you look, its been week since anyone recieved a response. I'll take my chances with the smart, experienced people here. I did however put the question there too, I'm just not as confident - thanks for the suggestion though.

if i remember correctly - you need to choose Lineat PCM Audio - not mpeg-1 layer II audio
