an IP sniffer that works in a chat room ?

Post by jiggeedoo » 2004-05-05 06:24

I am a total newbie here , i'm looking for an IP sniffer or a Ping trace route program that would identify the chatters IP in this chat room http://chat1.twcny.rr.com/index.html ,we dont need a password or a specific name to get in that chat room and it would be nice to be hable to differentiate between the regulars and the ones that come in undercover with a fake names .

1. this is not ON-topic of Direct Connect / DC++
2. don't post your e-mail address, it makes you sound like you won't bother to check back here for replies. (and that is rude on any forum)
3. I sniffed the traffic, and I didn't find anything resembling an IP
4. if you're so worried about users faking nicknames, you should try a different chat network (IRC for instance)
